Mr László Juhász is the Vice-President of the HAEA

Ms Andrea Beatrix Kádár, President of the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority, appointed Mr László Juhász, the former head of the department of the HAEA, as the Vice-President of the organization, responsible for regulatory affairs with effect from 1 January 2022.

In order to support the work of the President, the Vice-President responsible for the official field shall provide professional guidance to the Authority in the areas of supervision of nuclear and storage facilities, supervision of radiation sources and emergency response. He shall ensure that the organizational units participate in the administrative and official work and in the performance of the further tasks of the Authority by cooperating and informing each other in a unified manner.
