The meeting took place at Paks, Hungary on 27 and 28 February, 2017. Representatives of the relevant Hungarian authorities, members of the ConvEx-3 (2017) Task Group and representatives of Hungarian neighbouring countries and international organizations (International Atomic Energy Agency, European Commission, World Health Organization, World Meteorological Organization), were invited to participate in the meeting.
The meeting objectives were to discuss
and to consolidate the Exercise Manual, in particular the exercise key
event list and timeline, international exercise messages and injects, to
review drafts of other exercise documents, to update overall exercise work
plan and to visit the Paks NPP. Meeting participants visited the Training
and Maintenance Centre and the Emergency Management Centre of the NPP.

th Task
Group Meeting (exercise evaluation meeting) will be held in Vienna by the
end of 2017. Dates will be announced in due course.
About ConvEx-3 in brief
ConvEx-3 are full-scale
exercises designed to evaluate international emergency response arrangements
and capabilities for a severe nuclear or radiological emergency over several
days, regardless of its cause.
