International Conference on the Security of Radioactive Material

The purpose of the conference was to foster the exchange of practices and experiences related to the security of radioactive material under regulatory control in use, transport and storage, and to the system and measures for detection of this material out of regulatory control. Almost eight hundred participants attended the event.

The conference provided the opportunity to hold poster presentations: HAEA’s experts gave information about the radioactive source security regulation in Hungary and the improvement of the detection and prevention capabilities in the national regulatory framework.
