Hungarian – Austrian Technical Meeting at the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority

On the 2nd and 3rd of November 2005 Mr. Peter Hofer and Mr. Viktor Karg from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management of Austria participated at the Technical Meeting of the Hungarian and Austrian Experts on the Harmonisation of Environmental Analysis Results organised by the HAEA.The main objectives of the meeting were the comparison and mutual understanding of tools for the assessment of radiological consequences as well as the observation of the Hungarian Nuclear Emergency Exercise at the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority and the National Directorate General for Disaster Management on 3 November. In course of the meeting the experts discussed further opportunities of cooperation in the field of nuclear and radiological emergency preparedness.
