HAEA reviews the National Action Plan on the Lessons Learned from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Accident

Following the Fukushima accident in 2011, Hungary also performed the stress tests in relation to Paks Nuclear Power Plant to review its resistance against extreme hazards. The improvement actions decided based on the results, were compiled into a National Action Plan that was published on the HAEA website. The Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority has reviewed the progress in the Action Plan on a regular basis. The plan has also been reviewed in 2021 by the Authority and the results are published on the HAEA website.
