ESARDA Working Group meeting in Budapest

The goal of the group is to provide proposals and expert advice on the implementation of safeguards concepts, methodologies and approaches aiming at enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the nuclear safeguards system of the member states on all levels. The meetings serve as a forum for exchange of information and experiences on safeguards implementation.

In addition to the more than twenty members of the group, representatives of the nuclear licensees of Hungary attended the two-day meeting in Budapest. The speakers included a member of the nuclear safeguards group of the MVM Paks Nuclear Power Plant Ltd. and a member of the HAEA as well.
