68th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna

The 68th annual General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency will be held in Vienna from 16 to 20 September 2024. In conjunction with the IAEA's main decision-making body, the General Conference, a scientific forum on the role of nuclear energy in agriculture and food technology, the Atoms4Food initiative, will be held from 17 to 18 September. The aim of Atoms4Food is to help the countries concerned to increase food security and combat growing hunger. During the week-long event, countries will also have the opportunity to hold bilateral and multilateral meetings, further strengthening international cooperation in the nuclear field.

The IAEA will provide a live webcast on its website, so that all interested parties can follow the proceedings of the Conference online. The link to the webcast will be published on the opening day and can be accessed by clicking here.
