Teleworking period is over at the HAEA

Based on the recommendation of the Defense Working Committee, the Deputy Director General of the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority decided that the HAEA would operate in the pre-pandemic way again from 6 September and end the period of teleworking. For entering HAEA’s office building there are no restrictive measures for external guests (only the standard entry protocol is in place).

For business trips abroad, online participation is preferred where possible. The Committee constantly monitors the changes of the pandemic situation as well as government measures and, if necessary, gives advice and recommendations to introduce protective measures again.

At the staff meeting convened on the occasion of the return, Deputy Director General Szabolcs Hullán thanked the employees for their successful teleworking and emphasized that there was no disruption in the HAEA’s regulatory activities (such as inspections and regulatory procedures), they were implemented effectively.
