On 16 September 2019, an expert of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic arrived as a scientific visitor to the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority with the support of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
As part of the program, the emergency response facilities were introduced at the Paks Nuclear Power Plant. At the National Directorate General for Disaster Management he was informed about the National Emergency Management Centre, the special tools used by them and the organisation and planning of the tasks of population protection among others. The ‘Görgei Artúr’ HazMat Information Centre of the Hungarian Defence Forces was also involved in the program.
